New York to Nashville

Located in Belle Meade, a historic suburb of Nashville and sited on a large, lush plot, is the lovely 40-year-old Santa Barbara Mission style home.

Our approach during the construction phase was design by subtraction. It entailed reshaping the interior rooms to accommodate a thriving family which includes a talented artist.

Rich materiality reigns in every room; including the exterior spaces. Unique materials were used in creative ways, paired with a meticulous eye for detail gives the home a timeless restrained sensibility.

As seen in the master bedroom, patterned, layered textures and deep rich monochromatic color create a sensual cocoon like space.
